SRA’s Luzon and Mindanao Extension Services Division (ESD) holds Project Management Training for Field Personnel

CAVITE – As part of their continuing capability-building programs for their employees, 40 field personnel from the Sugar Regulatory Administration’s (SRA) Extension Services Division (ESD) went through a three-day Project Management Training Seminar in The Bayleaf Cavite recently.

Gerald Siao Petilla, Chief Administrative Officer of the Department of Science and Technology’s National Research Council of the Philippines (DOST-NRCP) provided inputs and case studies with hands-on group activities.

The attendees were guided through each step of the project management cycle and effective strategies for each phase, as well as principles of project success, a study on a Harvard project management case and team engagement.

These seminars equip SRA’s personnel with skills that allow them to effectively implement extension services to the various stakeholders, particularly in assisting farmers to access programs and benefits provided under the Sugar Industry Development Act.
