             GENERAL ADMINISTRATIVE ORDER NO. 01
             Series of 2006-2007

                  SUBJECT: Charging of a Fee on the Issuance of a Certification on land 
                      Use Conversion of Sugar Land  Into Residential or industrial
                     Use.
         
             WHEREAS, in compliance with the requirements adn procedures of the Department of 
          Agrarian Reform (DAR)Administrative Order entitled "2002 Comprehensive Rules On 
          Land Use Conversion", the Sugar Regulatory Administration (SRA)issues a Certifi-
          cation on land use  conversion of sugar lands into residential, or commercial or
          industrial use;

             WHEREAS, prior to the issuance of said certification, the SRA conducts an ins-
          pection/survey  of the sugar   land subject of the request for the conversion of
          its use;

          WHEREAS,in the conduct of said inspection/survey, the SRA defray administrative
          and technical expenses;

          NOW, THEREFORE, under and by virtue of the power vested in the Sugar Regulaory
          Administration, it is hereby order that; 

          Section 1. SRA shall set-up a system and procedure in the processing and issuance 
          of a Certification On Land Use Conversion of sugar lands into residential, commer-
          cial, or industrial use.

          Section 2. SRA shall charge a fee to defray the administrative and technical expen-
          ses it incur in the processing and issuance of said Certification On Land Use Con-
          version, as follows:

                1.0 Filing Fee
                    1.1 One Thousand Pesos (P1,000.00) for applications involving land with 
                        an area less than or equal to five (5) hectares; or 
                    1.2 Two Thousand Pesos (P2,000.00) for applications involving land with 
                        an area of more than five (5) hectares;
 
                2.0 Inspection Fee
                    2.1 Ten Thousand Pesos (P10,000.00)for applications involving land with
                        an area less than or equal to five  (5) hectares;
                    2.2 Fifteen  Thousand Pesos (P15,000.00)for application involving land
                        with an area of more than five (5) hectares.
                      
          Section 3. All  other  fees and  charges currently being charged and collected and
          not covered by this Order shall continue to be charged  and collected.

          Section 4. This Order takes effect fifteen (15) days after publication.
