Requirements for the Application of Shipping Permit
for Coastwise Movement of Sugar Shipment
- Sugar Trader
- The application should be duly SRA registered sugar trader
for the current crop year.
- The applicant shall submit an Affidavit of Notification duly
notarized (see attached sample). The affiant of the affidavit
of notification should be the authorized representative(s) of
the company/firm.
- If the sugar shipment is withdrawn from the sugar mill/refinery
warehouse, the shipper/trader shall submit an authentic copy
of a Sugar Release Order (SRO) for raw sugar.
- In shipment of imported sugar, the shipper/trader is required
to submit SRA CLEARANCE OF IMPORTED SUGAR.
- The shipper shall pay the corresponding shipping permit fee
of P1.00 per lkg bag, prior to the issuance of shipping
permit.
- Muscovado
Converter/Trader
- The applicant should be a duly SRA registered Muscovado Converter/Trader
for the current crop year.
- The applicant shall submit an Affidavit of Notification duly
notarized (same with Sugar Trader.) The affiant should be the
authorized representative(s) of the company/firm.
- The applicant shall pay the corresponding shipping permit
fee of P1.00 per lkg bag prior to the issuance of shipping
permit.
- Processors/Manufacturers
of Sugar-Based Products for Export
- The applicant should be a duly SRA registered Processor/Manufacturer
of sugar-based products for export for the current crop year.
- The applicant shall submit SRA CLEARANCE FOR RELEASE OF
IMPORTED SUGAR together with its corresponding shipping documents
such as: Bill of Lading, Commercial Invoice and Packing List.
- The applicant shall submit for verification SRA O.R. as proof
of payment for Monitoring Fee.
- The applicant shall submit an Affidavit of Notification duly
notarized. The affiant should be authorized representative(s)
of the company/firm.
- The shipper shall pay the corresponding shipping permit fee
of P1.00 per lkg bag prior to the issuance of shipping
permit.
