HABIT OF GROWTH:

Fast grower and erect, cylindrical with waxy internode. Purple to greenish purple with bud groove. Absence of corky cracks and patches. Eye buds are oval and dominantly red in young stalks. Stalks are medium size. Shy type, younger leaves are erectwith drooping tip, older leave droop from middle to top. thick stalk purplish green in color. Waxy with few corky patches. Long and erect stalks. Sparse flowering, narrow to broad long leaves, with curved at the tip. Age of maturity is 12 months.

YIELD:

High in tonnage and sugar content.

REACTION TO DISEASES:

Resistant to smut, leaf scorch and to downy mildew.
