HABIT OF GROWTH:

Fast grower, erect medium size stalk greenish when young, turning purplish green with age, plenty of waxy and eather mrkings in the intr internode. Good ratooner, moderately profuse flowering variety. Recommended for heavy clay soils. Age of maturity is 10 - 12 months.

YIELD:

High in tonnage and sugar content.

REACTION TO DISEASES:

Resistant to smut, downy mildew, and leaf scorch but susceptible to yellow spot .
